Dadabhai is a marketing graduate of the General Motors Engineering & Management Institute, Flint, Michigan, and worked in the Corporate Structure Training Division of Rubbermaid in Wooster, Ohio, before returning to the Middle East, where he set up a Trading Division in Dubai for Dadabhai Group, the family business. He then shifted to the Hospitality Division, which resulted in the establishment of the Hawar Resort Hotel. He assumed the administrative functions of the Baisan Group of Hotels in 1997. The in-house training department for the hotel group eventually became the Bahrain Institute of Hospitality and Retail, of which he has been managing director since 1999.
