      The American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (EI), www.ahlei.org, knows that you care how information about you is used and shared, and we appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly.       We use "cookies" to keep track of your current shopping session to personalize your experience and so that you may retrieve your shopping cart at any time

      Non-personal information and data may be automatically collected through the standard operation of EI's Internet servers or through the use of "cookies." "Cookies" are small text files a web site can use to recognize repeat users, facilitate the user's ongoing access to and use of the site and allow a site to track usage behavior and compile aggregate data that will allow content improvements and targeted advertising.       Credit Cards

      We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you). Also provide your Credit Card Validation Code (CVV2). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your credit card will be billed upon shipment of your order.

      Customer ID

      As a valued educational institute customer, you may be eligible for special pricing on select products based on your customer id.       Information Gathered

      EI reserves the right to perform statistical analyses of user behavior and characteristics in order to measure interest in and use of the various areas of the site and to inform advertisers of such information as well as the number of users that have been exposed to or clicked on their advertising banners. EI will provide only aggregated data from these analyses to third parties. Also, users should be aware that EI may sometimes permit third parties to offer subscription and/or registration-based services through a EI site. EI is not responsible for any actions or policies of such third parties and users should check the applicable privacy policy of such party when providing personally identifiable information

      Additionally, users should be aware that when they voluntarily disclose personally identifiable information (e.g., user name, e-mail address) on the bulletin boards or in the chat areas of the EI Site, that information, along with any substantive information disclosed in the user's communication, can be collected and correlated and used by third parties and may result in unsolicited messages from other posters or third parties. Such activities are beyond the control of EI.

      Upon request, EI will allow any user to "opt out" of further EI promotional contacts at any time. Additionally upon request, will use reasonable efforts to allow users to update/correct personal information previously submitted which the user states is erroneous to the extent such activities will not compromise privacy or security interests. Also, upon a user's request, EI will use commercially reasonable efforts to functionally delete the user and his or her personally information from its database; however, it may be impossible to delete a user's entry without some residual information because of backups and records of deletions.

      International Customers

      Customers outside the United States and Puerto Rico will be responsible for customs charges, brokerage fee, and duties when applicable. We do not accept P.O. Box addresses. We accept street addresses only.

      The ahlei.org website is owned and operated by the The American Hotel & Lodging Association's Educational Institute. The hyperlinks (the "Links") in the various websites in the AH&LA network allow the user to access other sites on the Web, including non-AH&LA websites. Unless otherwise expressly stated, the maintenance of the Links should not be taken as a manifestation or reflection of any control, affiliation, endorsement or any other relationship between AH&LA and the operator of the other website.       Member Pricing

      An AH&LA member number is required to receive member pricing. If you do not know your member number or would like to become a member, please email the AH&LA membership department at ahlamembership@ahla.com or call or 202-289-3100. Member pricing is provided upon verification of member status.

      Other Conditions

      We reserve the right to make changes to this site and these Conditions at any time.

      Out-of-Stock Products

      We will ship your product as it becomes available. Usually, products ship the same day if ordered before 1:00PM , or by the next business day if your order is received after this time and for orders received on Saturday, Sunday or any major holiday. However, there may be times when the product you have ordered is out-of-stock which will delay fulfilling your order.

      Order Shipments

      Estimated product shipment/delivery dates are based on business days. Monday - Friday (excluding weekends and some holidays)

      Return Policy

      DVDs/videos are non-refundable unless damaged, defective, and/or unopened (shrink wrapped) in which case they must be returned within 30-days to: AHLEI Fulfillment Center, 2113 N. High St., Lansing, MI 48906. Courses and texts must be returned within 12 months. Items must be received in resalable condition (no bent or dirty covers, no writing, etc.). Shipping charges are non-refundable. Please use a traceable method of shipment. COD shipments are not accepted.

      Student

      Are you a student at a college or university that requires EI course certification? If yes, please contact your school bookstore for the appropriate course materials, or call EI's academic sales department at 800-752-4567 or 517-372-8800.

      Taxes

      Our Store shall automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within the same state. For orders shipped to other states, you are solely responsible for all sales taxes or other taxes.
